Shorten a Video with CinLink
Learn how to drag a video into the CinLink workspace, start the Shorten Video task from quick actions or chat, and receive a shorter edited version.
Shorten Video
CinLink can help you turn a longer video into a shorter version while keeping the main content clear. After you place a video in the workspace, you can start the shortening task from the quick action bar or by describing what you want in the chat box.
1. Drag a Video into the Workspace
Drag video files directly to the upload area in the chat box, or click the upload area in the chat box to add videos.
@mention the video in the chat area, and CinLink will treat it as the target file for the next task.
2. Choose How to Start the Shortening Task
Type “/” in the chat box and select Shorten Video. CinLink will create a condensed version for the video you dragged into the workspace.
You may set the target duration for video shortening in the selection box. You can also type Shorten this video in the chat box and send the message. CinLink will recognize that you want to trim the current video.
3. Let CinLink Analyze and Edit the Video
After receiving your instruction, CinLink identifies the selected video and starts the shortening workflow.
CinLink analyzes the script, understands the structure of the content, identifies important moments, and prepares a shorter version that keeps the core message intact.
4. Review the Shortened Version
When the task is complete, CinLink delivers the shortened video in your working folder. You can review the result and ask CinLink to make it tighter, keep specific sections, or create another version for a different platform.
Tips
- Make sure the video you want to shorten has been dragged into the workspace before starting the task.
- If you need a specific duration, include it in your instruction, such as Shorten this video to 30 seconds.
- You can ask CinLink to preserve key moments, remove pauses, or create a platform-specific version.
