Get Started with CinLink

CinLink is an AI video agent designed to help you work with local video projects. When you open CinLink for the first time, you choose a working folder, let CinLink understand the videos and related files inside it, and then start giving tasks through quick actions or natural language.

1. Open CinLink

After installing CinLink, launch the app from your computer. CinLink will first guide you through the initial setup before taking you into the main workspace.

2. Choose a Working Folder

On your first launch, CinLink opens an onboarding page. The first step is to choose your working folder.

Your working folder is the place where you keep the materials for a video project. It can include video files, draft scripts, subtitle files, reference documents, and any files generated later by CinLink. CinLink uses this folder as the context for understanding your project and managing related outputs.

3. Analyze the Folders

After choosing a working folder, you can analyze your local assets. This lets CinLink scan and understand the video files in the folder before you begin working on them.

During analyzing, CinLink learns your videos, transcribes spoken content, and extracts useful visual information from the footage. Once this step is complete, CinLink has a clearer understanding of the content, structure, and possible tasks for the videos in your folder.

4. Enter the Main Interface

When initialization is complete, you will enter CinLink's main interface. The interface is organized into Two columns:

• Workspace: The center column is where most of your conversation and collaboration with the CinLink video agent happens.
• Sessions: The left column shows your previous conversations, task history, and ongoing sessions with CinLink.

5. Give CinLink a Task

From the main interface, you can ask CinLink to work on your videos in two ways.

First, you can use the quick actions at the top of the workspace. These shortcuts let you start common tasks such as Add Subtitles or Translate Video without writing a detailed prompt.

Second, you can use the natural language input at the bottom of the workspace. Describe what you want CinLink to do with the videos in your working folder. For example, you can ask CinLink to “extract subtitle files for all videos” or “batch convert all videos to MP4.”

Next Steps

After setup, you can continue working with CinLink around the same folder. Ask it to understand source materials, organize scripts, generate subtitles, translate videos, or batch process video files for your next publishing workflow.
